Aaron and Jenn’s Los Angeles wedding was the kind of day that felt effortlessly cool from start to finish, set in the heart of the Arts District at Millwick. This iconic indoor-outdoor warehouse venue blends industrial textures with lush greenery, making it one of the most unique and sought-after wedding venues in LA.

From the very beginning, Aaron and Jen did things their own way. Instead of getting ready separately, they chose to spend the morning together. When I asked why, their answer was simple and perfect. Why wouldn’t we be together? You’re my calm, my person. That choice shifted the entire energy of the day. It felt grounded, connected, and genuinely joyful, not rushed or performative.

It also meant we could create some of the most intimate and playful getting-ready photos. They wore beautiful robes, laughed their way through the morning, and even snuck up to the pool for portraits that felt more like a weekend getaway than a wedding timeline. It was relaxed in the best possible way, and that ease carried through the entire day.

The surrounding streets of downtown Los Angeles gave us the perfect backdrop. Think bold murals, textured alleyways, and that signature Arts District grit. Their wedding style leaned into color, movement, and candid moments, resulting in images that feel alive and completely true to them.

Millwick itself transformed into a vibrant, plant-filled party space as the night unfolded, with incredible energy, a packed dance floor, and a celebration that never lost its sense of fun. This was a wedding that proved you do not have to follow tradition to create something meaningful. In fact, sometimes rewriting the rules is exactly what makes it unforgettable.
