Izzy & Peter

Tucked into the wild, eucalyptus-scented beauty of the Blue Mountains, just outside Sydney, Izzy and Pete’s wedding was the kind that lingers in your chest long after the last song fades. What began as clients became genuine friendship - we even found ourselves sweating it out together at CrossFit - and that closeness is woven into every frame from their day.

Surrounded by rolling greenery, wandering llamas, and a sea of soft florals, their outdoor ceremony felt effortlessly personal. With Pete’s family traveling from the UK and thoughtful DIY details - burlap textures, eucalyptus touches, and glowing fairy lights - the entire day carried a sense of warmth, playfulness, and intention.

This was a wedding full of movement and joy - barefoot energy, deep laughter, and a dance floor that refused to quit. Their portraits remain some of my all-time favorites, not just for the setting, but for the soul that radiates through them. As one of the first weddings I ever photographed, Izzy and Pete’s day holds a permanent place in my heart - a reminder of why I do this, and the kind of love that stays with you.
