Gabby & Deeba

Gabby and Deeba’s wedding felt like stepping into a living, breathing kaleidoscope - an explosion of color, pride, and pure summer joy set in the backyard of Gabby’s childhood home on Long Island. Every detail was infused with intention and personality, from the vibrant rainbow palette and sunflowers to the hand-drawn place cards that made each guest feel like part of the story.

The celebration honored tradition while feeling completely their own - a beautiful Jewish wedding layered with meaning, community, and deep connection. With the help of a close friend and renowned planner Pejy Kash (whose work has graced the pages of Vogue), every element from the florals (incredible work by Ivie Joy) to the flow of the day was artfully curated yet still felt intimate, warm, and alive.

Gabby and Deeba themselves were radiant in the truest sense - beaming, emotional, completely present. Their love lit up every corner of the day, from golden hour portraits in the vegetable garden to the electric, joy-filled dance floor that carried well into the night.

This wedding was especially meaningful for me. Gabby had once been part of my own team, someone who had seen me work behind the scenes, and being trusted to document her wedding felt like a full-circle moment - an honor I don’t take lightly. There’s something incredibly special about photographing someone who truly understands what you do and chooses you.

It’s hard to put this day into words- it was elegance wrapped in playfulness, beauty layered with heart, a backyard transformed into something magical. Without a doubt, one of the most stunning, joy filled weddings I’ve ever had the privilege of capturing.
