Liberty State Park Jersey City Elopement
What can I say about this elopement?! Wow, I was just in awe of these guys. The sweet, kind personalities of both John & Kat, their love and affection which is so bright and colorful you could see it AND feel it. The weather was incredible and the ceremony was intimate with John’s Aunty & Uncle as their only witnesses. I’m so happy I got to be part of John & Kat’s intimate Jersey City marriage ceremony at Liberty State Park. The wedding portraits we took around the park afterwards during sunset are just incredible. I’ve shot at the park so many times but every single session is always unique and special in its own way.
City Hall Wedding in Downtown Jersey City
This year 2020 has been difficult to say the least. So many of our larger weddings have been rescheduled but some couples are opting to still make it “official” with a smaller ceremony instead of holding off their vows completely. Stephanie and John are one example of this trend and as you can see their elopement in downtown Jersey City was intimate, colorful and fun. Officiated by Mayor Steven Fulop and surrounded by the their parents, Stephanie and Matt said I do before an online crowd of friends and family. We walked around JC and took a few quick portraits on Grove St around the pedestrian mall on Newark before they headed for some Champagne and lunch at local restaurant!

Rutgers Jersey Engagement Photography
Shir & Billy asked me to meet them at their old stomping grounds of Rutgers University in New Brunswick NJ. We had such a fun afternoon together as they showed me around their old campus where they first fell in love. We got coffees at Hidden Grounds Cafe polished off with a tequila shot at the local college dive bar Queens. After an afternoon of reminiscing, laughter, hugs and kisses I think we made some beautiful images together for Shir and Billy to look back on and treasure <3
